Second jeep

Just added a second jeep to the yard. I drive a TJ. We just purchased a JKU for the pretty little wife. Anyone have any suggestions? Its completely stock. I've never owned a jk before so any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

A budget boost and 33" tires will make it look a little less like a short bus. Be sure to get one that lifts the front .5" more than the rear to level things out.

What year JKU did you get?

Ok all you jk owners. Today my airbag light came on. Any suggestions on where I need to start looking? I hate to drive 100 miles to the dealer for something simple.

The most simple place to check and most common area for an air bag light issue is the connector under the front seats. Check the yellow connectors under the seat and the wiring. Do this with the negative battery cable disconnected and wait 5 mins before you check these connectors.

Checked the connectors. Light stayed off all the way to work. Got in to come home light came back on. Guess I'll be checking them again.

Chances are ,the connector has a loose pin or a pin doesn't have enough retention to keep a good contact.

And when your brake light comes on and stays on, just whack the ebrake handle and it will turn off

I had my ebrake light come on also! But I had recently had my console out to put an aftermarket sub in and I bumped the sensor out of line. I pulled my console back up to push the sensor back to horizontal. Is that a chronic problem with the JK's?

It's a 2010. Any suggestions on which budget boost

Will your gal be offroading or do you just wanna make it look sexy? If you are going to use the jeep, a bigger investment may be beneficial for the preservation of the jeep.

Naw my jeep is the toy. She just wants it to look a little more like a jeep. Been looking at some 2 1/2" bb and probably 33s

Well went with a spacer lift for it. Besides the spacers and shocks and rear track bar drop bracket do I need anything else for her mall crawler. Very doubtful it will ever be off road. But I want to make sure I have everything I need to put this lift on and it be safe and sound for her
