shackle inversion

if you are going to do slow speed, suspension flexing offroading, DONT DO A SHAKLE REVERSAL

from what everyone has told me and from what i have seen, when you have a shakle reversal, this ih what happens: when you come up to an obstacle and start to go over it. your tire will move up and back as the suspension compresses. when the tire moves back, it does not put as much pressure on that tire which means less traction. with shakles in the front, the tire moves up and forward, when it moves forward, it pushes the tire down harder and give better traction

I will say this though, my bud has a 92 yj with a shakle reversal, we drove it from eastern FL to northern AL. that thing is nice and smooth on road.

I'll second that. It's a step backwards offroad in any area except high speed stuff like dune running where the landings are much better with one, or anything at higher speeds so the suspension will have more of a chance to soak up the bumps. Alot of people love them on the road though. I'm not a big fan.
