Ok" I have some stock 5 leaf springs that were given to me, used'' that im thinking of putting on the front and back, right now their is 4 leafs on front and back. Its a 93 YJ 4.0. Are they better?:shades:

It would depend on the curve of the arch and how warn out they are.If they are beat up no help at all.If they are too stiff your ride will be worse and more bouncy than before.

Most YJ factory springs are 4leaf front and 5leaf rear. The fronts have 2 spring clips and the rear have 3. The fronts also have slightly more arch.

This jeep, i just got has only 4 in the back, maybe ill replace them with the 5. The arches are the same as the ones on the jeep (OEM). I thought that you would want 5 in the front becouse its heaver than the rear, also i will be putting a tube bumper, maybe a winch on it all so, i have the jeep bug ha ha. And thank you all for your help:-)
