stripped out... Help!

I need some help... I was replacing the windshield hinges in my 78 CJ5.. and one of the Torx head bolts stripped out. On the back side is just a regular 1/2 inch nut... How can I get this thing out without hurting the tub underneather the hinge?:???:

Lots of penetrating oill and an easy out. Snap on tools makes a tapered 4 blade extractor that has worked every time for me. I have used them on cars from the 20's-1950's which are rusted solid.

Try heat. And if you have a Dremel or air tool, you can try to make a nice slit to fit a wide screwdriver in. Sometimes, if you get lucky, a nice healthy smack breaks it loose. I tried an easy out on one of my windshield bolts, and it snapped... I never did get that bolt out.

The idea of using an airtool or dremel to create a flat head bolt out of it was pretty smart... I'll try that first.. wouldn't have thought of it!
Thanks

One thing I have done in the past is to drill 2 small holes and then use a pair of filed down needle nose pliers to fit into the holes.
