I burned out the module in my HEI dist because the wire for "tach" had power running to it. I had to disconnect the tach wire in order for the jeep to run. I want to run a direct wire from the dist to the tach, but I dont know which one of the three is actually the sensor (3 wires run into the back of the tach). More important, is this a good idea? 87 YJ w/258 4.0 head GM HEI. Thanks in advance, Mason.

Yellow is hot from Ignition switch. Green is Tach.
