To Ponder?

I've now found myself a D44 out of a Cherokee for the rear of my YJ. I'm planning on doing a SOA within the next couple of month. Durring this time I would also like to install a SYE kit. The question is...can I run the stock shaft and slip yoke with that much lift with out vibration for a couple of day while I wait for the CV shaft to be made. Thanks for any input

You can run front wheel drive after installing the SYE, don't bother using the stock stuff for a day or two.

Thats exactly what I did for a week... my jeep was SOA, with stock tires, no shocks, and no rear driveshaft. It was quite bouncy! Front wheel drive is the way to go, just don't fully weld the perches on the D44 until you have the shaft in so you can make sure the angle is correct, just tac em on for now.

Yeah it will hold up, just take it easy when using the front wheel drive. I went like that for about 2 weeks and had no problems. Just don't try to do any burnouts or anything
