Sounding pretty Dumb here but what is the reason for removeing the trackbar? What will the benifit be? What is the down side? Sorry just always wanting to learn more here! Tug

the trac bars limit axle travel, which, when removed, gives you wheels more freedom to move around and over stuff. the down side is a reduction in control at high speeds (which ive heard ranges from a lot to not noticable) [addsig]

i just looked up "track bar" in my haynes manual and it said that there's a cotter pin and retaining nut on there... i just mentioned it to make sure you weren't forgetting anything.[addsig]
