Jeep YJ Frame Rot.

Does anyone know of a person in or near Huntington, WV who can weld a Jeep frame? I have the typical frame rot on the rear rails where the shackles mount. 1989 Jeep YJ. I am looking for someone who can cut out the rust and weld in patches. Having a hard time finding someone local who can help for a reasonable cost.

A lot of welding shops can do the work but not sure how reasonable the price would be. I would ask first about how many frames they've cut out the rust and patched.

The Jeep is fixed and back on the road. Had the fuel tank dropped and new rear frame sections welded in and painted/undercoated. Cost me 200 dollars for both sides. I think that was a good price for a quality welding job.

Is that $200 with you brining them some cut replacement sections?
It sounds like an awesome deal to me.
