JKS Disco install

I started installing the JKS disconnects on my 97 TJ last night. Getting the old linkages off was a pain, but I finally got them off after a good hour or so of trying. Anyway, when I tried to install the disconnect pin on the lower bracket, the threaded side of the pin would not fit through the hole in the bracket. Has anyone else run into this? It's fairly close, but the hole is just a little bit smaller. I'm not sure if I should drill this out bigger or what. It'll be tough to get a drill in there, and I'm afraid of making it too big and introducing some slop into the system. Any suggestions?

Actually you can't just push the bolt through

You have to Screw it in. that is what I did if I remember correctly.

yep it may be flat but those threads will catch none the less if it is close enough.

Shinin' her up.

the tabs are definitely there on the TJ. I guess I'll try to thread them in tonight, but I'm tempted just to take the dremel tool to the hole and ream it out a bit.

careful with that

I have noticed after a year with mine you have to tighten them up. If it isn't a tight fit you may start hearing some squeeking

HEY!! maybe THAT is what I have been hearing.

too late. already hit them with the dremel last night. I just used the sanding wheel not the grinding wheel though. I think it was just a light layer of rust that was keeping my from success. they went on pretty quick after that though. something else I noticed though, is that I pretty much kept them at shortest possible length. that seems odd to me since I have a 2" lift. thoughts?

Seat Covers

I have tried them in all different lengths. makes no matter from what I have noticed.
