Mounting a winch on a CJ7 with a Kentrol bumper

Jeepers...

I see a lot of "winch bumpers" out there. I have a Kentrol chrome bumper and was interested in mounting a winch. What type of modifications am I looking at or are there any needed?

I'm not sure if the Kentrol bumper is strong enough for the task. I mounted my winch on a wide " C " channel plate then bolted it to the top of the frame cross member support.

I mounted up a Smittybilt SRC and a Superwinch 9.0 EPi on 'BB', my '78 and save for a couple of extra holes to drill in the bumper to match up it was a breeze.
