yea the class is engineering visualization and computation. but ive already taught myself more than i think the class ever will, thats the only way to learn this stuff. i was largely reseponsible for all the grades of my highschool drafting class, which was a joke. me and a few others taught ourselves because the teacher was an idiot, and then usually distributed the documents throughout the network of friends that had no clue. SolidWorks is different than AutoCAD which threw me off at first, but now that im picking up the ins and outs its fairly simple. its fun
that heim is actually 4 pieces put together in an assembly, the body, the ball, and two misalignment spacers.
Soildworks is an awesome program, are you runing it with a computer to fab your works? that's such a great program for figuring out clearances and movement- i worked with it alittle
Using a nice CAD system is about the most fun you can have with a computer. I'm very limited with the 3D stuff as it doesn't really fit my needs, but it's sooo cool. Does it have nice animation?
