RE: Manual Transmission Drivers-(Survey) What rpm range do u drive
Good eye junkpile, thats the shade I was going for, but I wanted to do a single stage paint because I will be looking to put a glass tub on the jeep in a few years and didnt want to go crazy with paint right now just to take the tub off a couple years from now. So I went with the closest shade I could get in a single stage for a reasonable price.
OK the chevelle, I definitley drive the car, hard. The bodywork is done, I just need to do a little more blocking and spary sealer and color. The color is the paint on the carbs in the pics, tahoe turqoise availible 1 year only on chevelles in 67, the original color of the car. I already own the base and clear coat to do it but have grown really fond of the primer, dont have to worry about it, while I'm working on the jeep I threw a cover on it and put my kids bikes, jeep parts and all kinds of stuff on top of it. When it comes time to take it out, uncover it, a little windex and a rag, good as new. No intention to be a show car.
The rear is a 12 bolt, moroso carrier, richmond 4:10's, strange axles its set up with bagged coils and Hotchkis boxed lower and adjustable upper contol arms. Transmission is a Dynamic racing turbo 400 full competition reverse manual valvebody (no auto features) a 3000 stall converter with a B&M megashifter.
The big block made 706/812 on the dyno, leaning out on the top end, need to do some more carb work to get its full potential to come out. Shooting for 750/850 when all is said and done.
I think thats it, man was harder typing for this long than building the car, man my 2 typing fingers are sore.
